Do you have a reference for this footnote?

"However, because the hymnal committee gathered so many arrangements of psalms, and because psalm-singing is still an important part of congregational worship, Psalms for All Seasons was also published in 2012 as an unofficial supplement."

Given that Psalms for All Seasons was published before Lift Up Your Hearts, and given how comprehensive PfAS is, I always assumed they were separate projects.

Hey Ben! That footnote comes from this CICW article: https://worship.calvin.edu/resources/articles/how-use-lift-your-hearts-hymnal

They mention near the bottom that the editorial committee for LUYH gathered more psalm settings than they had room for in LUYH. So, though PSAS was published first, it was birthed out of the efforts of the LUYH committee, as I understand it.

Do we need to produce a new hymnal? Personally, I think our best move at this point would be to adopt/commend the Trinity Psalter Hymnal. It may not have all that we want, but it has a complete Psalter (which even identifies the scriptural verses) and much of our historic hymnody.
